Guys,

We are still on the learning curve when it comes to fishing the mouth of the Bay and adjacent ocean.

I have read several threads about eeling in the vicinity of Fisherman's Island. Would any of you be so good as to tell me about where this is done after the Bay season closes?

Get a good chart of the Chesapeake Bay. To the south of Fisherman Island you will see Nautilus Shoals. Fish there.

We are fishing inside the coastal zone boundries. Check out this chart, it shows the line separating the bay/coastal zones plus the 3 mile line up and down the coast. Most of the boats Sunday were between Fisherman / Smith Island in that deeper water inside nautilaus shoal just over east of the bay line.

Go out there and you'll see boats floating around just about everywhere north of the 4A, just stay inside the 3 mile line and outside the demarcation line if you have a decent chart on your gps.
