I threw together a last minute trip, got my dad talked into going, found a volunteer for anchor duty(thanks Troy ~ TRENFROW) and we went to the highrise....

I was setting out the light line and 3 out the down lines get doubled over, all 3 45" ...papers all around... It was pretty steady with a bite or 2 every 10 to 15 minutes. We landed about a dozen and TROY probally whiffed that many again(sorry I tell you about the rubber hooks). We pulled into the drive way about 2315..

dads fish( I had to hold it for him....he has a b-day this week...he makes me do all the work sometimes)

it was hung up on the anchor flukes, no wonder Troy has having issues getting it off the bottom.

Heard funding for cleaning the Bay is goin away so it looks like your doin your part cleaning those snags off the bottom. Probably put there by some tugboat deckhand.lol

no comment on your comment (lol) We couldnt get her to pull out so we put the ball on it...got it up and the chain goes back thru the clip a time or two before we figgered out that somethng want right.. some poor little seabass got evicted around 2200 last night.

lines in at 7:30ish to 10pm. plenty of flood, 10 ounces with a little angle on line. 3 cranks and 10 cranks were the hot spots, but everything got bit a few times.

Thanks for the trip. We need to go again so I can get revenge...I coundn't buy a hook up out there!!! I guess I just dont have the touch with the eels!! Either way, a good trip with nice big fish!
I went out Tuesday at the last minute to catch the afternoon bite at CH...bite finally came on at 430...looked like everyone was catchin them.
