Heard this on the radio just the other day. Take a med size tater and using an apple decoring devise, make a hole thru the tater length wise down the center. Once you have a hole the full length you then stuff into the hole your favorite items you like to eat on your baked tater. Butter, cheese, small pieces of red bell peper, chopped pre-fried bacon or bacon bits, what ever you get the idea. Once stuffed take the removed core and cut off both ends, about 3/8" and plug both ends of the stuffed tater holes. Now wrap the tater with uncooked bacon and then wrap alum foil around the whole tater closing up the ends. Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees and let cook for one hour. Serve hot. You can make a lot for your picnic this afternoon and be the talk of the party.
