Big fan of the tuners and mahi......wish i had the chance to taste a rosie or some tiles, never done the deepdrop stuff

someone give me the scoop of how those tiles and rosies are, saw some tiles at a dockside market and thought about buying some to give it a try, how do you usually cook them?

I had a piece of Wreck Fish "grouper" that I blackened which was caught last weekend @ the Norfolk Canyon and that was by far the best fish I've ever had in my life  , I think it was even better than blackened Big Eye Tuna, which is also very hard to beat when it's fresh.

Gotta wonder why yellowfin is getting so many votes--not that it is bad, it is excellent. Big Eye is better, though, if you are interested in tuna. Very few votes for Swordfish, too--??? No Mako Shark in the poll?? And Red Snapper ought to be in the poll, too. So many fish, so little time.

I voted for BFT, I have caught and eaten most of the tuna family (I have no desire to eat a skipjack) and none are better than a 50lb class BFT in my opinion. Now if red snapper was on the list it would be my #1 choice since there are so many differnt ways you can make an awesome meal.
