Started fishing 11 rod spread at 6:30 today expecting the bite to be over with the incoming tide at around 8. Fished in depths from 30-45' Love Point area. Not a nibble until around 9:30. We landed 3 fish and lost one to a broken leader at the parachute (never had that happen before) within 45 minutes. Also had 3 other knockdowns that didn't come tight. 2 slots and (1) 42" that will feed all 4 guys on the boat. Big fish had nothing in it's stomach and no roe. Most hits were on white double bucktails. One was on green. Lines were from 60' - 100'. All fish landed were off the boards. And yes, the dreaded jelly's were still here. Not as thick, but still a major pain. Heard a few other guys on the radio catching and others not catching... Beautiful, flat calm day on the water with some fish as a bonus. Pulled lines at 11.
