No pic. Fish got away before we could take a pic. Lesson learned. Take a picture before trying to measure it. I had the tail in my hand but the fish was too slimey to hold. Can't wait to do it again. Next time I'm going to have to go against what I usually preach and bring some bait...crabs, clam...whatever will increase my chances of catching something. I think I'll also suggest an earlier launch so we can be ther at sunrise. That would be cool!

I did catch a bardog (Southern MD for toadfish).

Anyway, Rick really knows his stuff. Man is his Prowler fast. Maybe one day I'll get me one. But right now, the Caper did too well for me to see it off too soon.

The boats that were around us were all cooperative. Nice change from the usual HRBT bandits. You really gotta watch your back though. When we first got out there I heard a breaking wavve and looked behind me at some wake that had come up. Had to race to get out of that. When we decide to leave the boat traffic was getting pretty bad.

Comment of the day comes from an old guy up on the pier, "Now dat's jus dumb!"

Congratulations on that fish again. You did all the work and deserve all the credit!

Dude, we talked about it. I'm not making a Caper vs Prowler argument. The only thing the Caper's got going over the prowler is that it is easier to load onto the truck. All I'm saying is the Caper is a capable craft, and since I don't have the money right now I'm in no rush to buy the Prowler.

But if I had the money, I would definitley be ordering one tomorrow.
