So far I have used crab and bloodworms
on blood worms i have caught croaker, spot, catfish and perch
on crab i have caught striper and trout. They often outcatch real bait for me.
I have also used the berkley gulp baits and have caught croaker on the bloodworm. Often when baits dont work on their own like squid strips I will add a bit of bloodworm fish bite to the hook along with it and that seems to work well also.

Check out Berkely GULPS! Bloodworm. They are very cool. They are actually shaped like a worm and are moist to the touch.
