Also, I've been using bottom rigs, with squid, shrimp, or fishbites blood worms. Any suggestions or advice?:helpsmilie:

If you are fishing off of the rocks just west of the main building you only need to cast out roughly 75-100ft to catch them. The last couple hours of incoming and first couple of outgoing are usually the best. The water all along the waterfront there is no more than 4-6 ft deep.

Bottom rigs with 2-3oz of lead and #2 hooks with fresh clean squid (1/2 x 1-2" strips) should work.

If not, you can blame it on bad advice from me but I've caught alot of croakers there over the years.

I appreciate the tips, needed an idea if I was doing anything right and if I don't catch anything, it won't be new, everytime i've gone fishing its either been on or off. Any advice that makes fishing less of a dice throw is good.
