I'm staying with friends in this area w/ water access (small beach). I plan on bringing my 8 wt and some clousers/deceivers ........ anyone familiar w/ the area?

Any and all suggestions are much appreciated.

The park is a okay spot at times for flounder and maby a few small croaker on a sink-tip or intermediate line. There is good depth (3-4ft) close to shore (around the pier). Wade out a few yards and cast clousers to the outside edge of the small rockpiles near the pier...always something around there.
If you can, take a drive up to Cape Henlopen SP. Fish the beach around the pier (NOT from the pier) after dark on a moving tide (best on incoming). All kinds of good fish come thru there this time of year just a few yards from the beach. Good Luck!
