water was calm, and clear. some birds out, but not a lot of help. we kept a 20" & 25"
in about 20 to 40 ft. outside of popular island and down toward the mouth of the Choptank. all in all about 24 total jigging. was sporadic. throw backs were in the 14" to 17" range. water temp was 50.3 deg. schools we saw on the meter were small and near bottom. going out tomorrow but may go to Hooper Island area.

Great report. I know throwbacks aren't ideal when fishing, but nice to see a mix of year classes in the Bay. We seem to have a decent amount of 15"-17" rock around this fall, despite pretty low YOY numbers in the recent past. Maybe we got lucky and those classes had a high survival rate. Money in the bank.
