You can't go, you'll just bring the wind with you again!Oh great, Now you go!
Well Thanks alot !We're taking the boat down this week, and will be there (Summerland) till the end of the month. If anyone is going to be down there, and wants to hook up (and you're not a total tool) give a holler.
In my best Jeff Foxworthy voice::Well Thanks alot !![]()
Leaders and rod/reel combos aren't very important down there, its not like they have clear water, or fish that fight as hard as Rockfish in FL.Lou, If I come down what length leaders should I bring and will my LTJ rods be enough?
Ah shucks, I was thinking of trying for one of them tarpuns at the the Bahia Honda bridge with my 10# outfits with a 20# flouro 30" leader. So you think that's over kill?Leaders and rod/reel combos aren't very important down there, its not like they have clear water, or fish that fight as hard as Rockfish in FL.![]()
Oh, We'll get to KW, but we hit a different place that carries fresh bait, If enough of us are down at the same time, sometimes we get the tackle shop do a special rigging seminar for us after closing. If you get to Key west - be sure to stop in at Bare Assets , great bait shop.
Shooting for Friday, where you staying?Mary and I are on Big Pine Key, will be till Sat. When are you getting here and ready to fish?
Ever wonder why there are 2 such establishments next to each other? Its a funny story way over PG13.:yes:I'm sure Bare Assets will be to your liking . Worth checking out.
I'll give you a call. If you get a windless night, dunk a grunt or pinfish at the No Name Bridge with some heavy tackle, and hold tight, should be good, if the moon is shinning.Big Pine, just above Summerland, we could probably do fri.
give me a call call,
Larry
