Fished 10/14 and 10/15..Wirelined the bridge and found a nice class
of flounder between the 1st. SBC and the south end of the 1st. island.
Limited out with flounder from 3 1/2 to 5 lbs. all on the late incoming tide.
Best catch I`ve had in a while. And I might add that the striper bite was
non-existant !!! Water still tooooooo hot, 68-70 degrees. This was on Tuesday.
My bride wanted me to bring her some spot, so Wed. thats what I searched
for and cashed in big time!!! I left L.C. about 8 am and ran to a few places up
toward West Ocean View past the fishing pier with no takers to be found. So
I started heading toward Lynn. As I crossed in front of the L.C. entrance my
bottom machine lit up! So I turned around and checked it out, thinking that
what I saw could have turbulance. Dropped a line over and it was on!!!!!! I had
these fish all to myself. The few boats near the end of the jetties didn`t
venture out to join in. These fish were all no.2`s with afew going 12-14 oz. To
make a long story short, I ran out of bait, bloodworms, didn`t use FB`s although
I had some. This all started about 10 am and I left them bitting at 2pm with
a cooler full !! No yellow bellies but I`m satisfied with what I had. Sorry there are
no pics. I got salt water in my D. camera on tues. I think it might be ruined, didn`t
realize I threw a wet towel on it while wirelinning on tuesday...

Sorry hear about your camera...a little trick my father taught me may help (Master Photographer)...fill up a large bowl with plain white rice (not minute rice) and put the camera in the bowl and let sit for 1-2 days...the rice will draw the moisture out of the camera...works on other devices as well.

This has worked on my cell phone dropped in the surf, my remote control covered in beer, etc. etc...definitely worth a shot vs. the cost of a new camera. Congrats as well on the flounder and spot!
