Today is my wedding anniversary and I was lucky to convince my wife to go
fishing with me (on the boat of course). She also loves the water but only when
it is warm or hot. Departed our house in Poquoson at 0800hrs and went straight
to Cape Henry with the rest of the fleet. I would have run around more but the
fog set in thick right after we got there. We trolled a five rod spread from the
green can to the pound nets on the inside with no luck an very little visibility.
By the time the fog lifted there were a couple hundred boats. I saw Randy
and crew on the Scooby Doo, they caught at least one nice Rock (sorry the
picture of the fish did not come out). Had a great time with my wife who is also
my best friend and obviously puts up with my some times obsessive fishing.
As you can see in the last picture she was happy when I said it was time to go
home, nice calm seas both ways and home at 1430hrs.

Foggy Anniversary to You!!!

Brian,

Glad to hear you got out with your bride on your anniversary. She is a keeper!

Good photos of various fishing boats too.

It was slow for us too. We only put 5 in the box and all were caught in the upper 1/3 of water colum on white and it took all day.

Tight Lines & Happy Holidays.
