The "encoded" ammo Bill was defeated in Maryland legislature last year. The Company who holds the patents on this "encoded" process stand to make millions if they get it passed. The Company is based out of Seattle Washington and they began their efforts long before Obama began running for President. The Company process has been defeated so far in every State including the most Liberal like Maryland and Kalifornia.
We can only hope if they can't get this "encoded ammo" on the State level no chance on national level. Ammo manufactures reps have testified againt the Bills and they would not re-tool to manafacture.

What are the House and Senate bill numbers for the 2009 session?
I have searched the MD legislative index and can't find where this bill has been introduced this year....

The Bill was introduced last year and unknown if they'll try it again this year ? The BIG fight this year in General Assembly is the Budget and in-fighting for your local programs etc etc

It's no surprise between the liberal news media running 357 stories for gun control in a two year period compared to 36 against gun control & those Americans who know absolutely nothing about guns believing what they read or hear on the news it looks like those of us who understand a gun is simply a tool to be used as sport, harvesting food or protecting our families will have to continue to try to enlighten those who would ban what they don't understand & deny us as Americans the right to own & use firearms.
