After the great fishing we had early last week the second half of the week was slow. I got a chance to fish tuesday to find that the bite had turned on again. These fish were smaller than what we were catching last week, but better than nothing. I caught my two fish in 30 minutes before the rain started coming down hard.

Yesterday, Garrett and I paddled to a shoreline spot against an incoming tide and the howling nw winds. After a paddle that took a lot longer than it should have and saltwater spray to the face we arrived safely at the spot. Almost immediatly on the first cast we both hooked up with legal stripers. This continued until it was nearly dark. Together released about 20 fish, up to 23". All fish were caught on 4" chart. storm shads.

Gonna hit it again tonight!
