J E Veil posted a photo of an "anchor " teasing me to retrieve it but he made me think of a good tip to pass on to TFers. This time of year is great to scout out structure with your fish/depth finder. Not many boats around and with little bait or fish you can get a good picture of what may hold fish later in the year.We also get some very low tides and for the pickerel/perch guys-this is the time to photograph the shorelines.Trust me-you'll forget 95% of what you see-take a photo.Always fun to find out why that one hotspot always gives up a fish or two.Sometimes it's a stray rock or tree top that no one can see during normal low tide.Everytime out I try to run a differant course and I'm always watching for stuff that isn't on the charts.Small humps or trenches can become your private hotspot.;) The small square things are most likely old crab pots-not unusual to "see" them:(.If you find something that looks good in under 45'-drop me a B-mail-might be worth checking out.
