February is finally here after a very long cold winter. The water's in Louisiana have struggled to stay above 48 degrees for some time now. We actually just experienced a few day's of Sleet which I'm all of know about as the media had a hayday with the news. It's been challenging but of course alway's fun Redfishing the marsh this season. The good day's were slam full of Giant Bull's I'd say more so than past years! We did experience some pretty slow days the last 2 months do to unhistorical low water temps. The kind of lows you may see a couple day's a season. Cold very cold. Looking forward to Spring and summer months and what they are accompanied by...Tarpon! Anyone else out there tying Tarpon flies in mass quantities? It's never to early. I say you should at least 1 each month of the year, but this time of year it's time push 'em out in big numbers. Happy tying and tight lines everyone.
