It's about 60 miles out of Virginia Beach's Rudee Inlet, 40 miles out of Oregon Inlet in the uter Banks, and about 23 miles out of Hatteras Inlet. When I lived in NJ we fished the Mud Hole for tuna out of Manasquan and Barnegat Inlets.

Now that I'm in Virginia, I now tow my boat between Rudee, Oregon, and Hatteras Inlets. Hatteras is the quicket tio the stream, but the Yellow fin are not really in there in the summer time they are up north of Oregon Inlet and Rudee Inlet.
