I need to replace the seat cushion on a Todd Marine seat box on my skiff. Todd will sell the seat and seat back cushions for $289. That's pretty steep! Does anyone know of a good place on the Penninsula that can re-upholster at a fair rate. Is it reasonable to think that it would be cheaper to have them reupholstered? Thanks for any input.

Might want to give Howell's on Aberdean Road a look see as well. They have done a lot of work for me on both my boat and two autos with excellent results.

I'll second B&C. She did my helm seats last spring. Cheaper than buying replacements from Pompanette and a much better quality product. She also took care of my coaming pads and cooler cushions. On the coaming pads they reused the original wood backs, but took the time to spar varnish them so they would hold up much better. Almost a year later and everything still looks as good as new.
