fished saturday morning with a crew of scotty and his brother out of OI inlet looking for stripers of course.inlet was as calm as calm could be.
turned north and found birds off of outer banks pier working bait but no fish, continued north up to avalon pier with still no sucess and no good signs other than the bait earlier.back to the bait and still nothing.[sad]
moved back to the inlet and south to find birds working a mile off the beach.[smile]
1st drop and its on with 12 to 15 lb bluefish, everyone bowed up.we continued to catch these brusiers for the next 2 hours and it was a blast.donnie had never caught bigguns before and on lite tackle we wore him out.

merry x-mas to all and to all a good nite.[grin]

Thanks for the post Happy. I'm down at the OBX next week hopefully catching Rock. Catching Blues is much better than catching nothing, and a big fish is a big fish.

Tight lines to you!
