Went to hot ditch this morning at around 0700hrs, this is only the second
time I have been there. I went there with tfers wavygravy and BigBird
maybe three years ago. I caught my first spec on the troll in the first
10 minutes, a keeper at around 18". I casted and trolled for another hour
and half and finally managed two more over an oyster bed. Unfortunatly
my phone would not stop going off so I cut the day short at 1000. Fished
all incoming tide I think I would have done better later in the day on
outgoing, still it was a good trip for a windy day and I got my fix.

Travis, Soon man soon. I am going to get 100 eels this week to start with.
Ruger77, thanks for the pics. The yamaha is much better ride.
Hookinfinger, I am one of BYRD's 108 and I thought I was to tell 108, kinda
like a chain letter but don't get too specific.
BYRD, thanks for the tips, I am still quite the amatuer spec man.
Finfever21, this is what I using, caught 1 on mirror lure and 2 on the now
dried up Gulp jig.

A flicker of its fins
turns the water to a mirror.
The reflection of a reflection
dazzling by the reeds,
sweeping through silt,
examining flotsam,
seeking out clean water.

With its hair-lip
and flighty eyes,
it has a flair for fleeing
close scrutiny.
Hooks and flies the fish defies.
Solitary in its purpose
seeking out fresh water.

Spotted trout ; a surreal sliver
seeking out new water.
