I was at Oyster fishing saturday and had two keeper flounder. One was 22" and one was 191/4". I was stopped by the marine police and he measured my fish. My 191/4" fish was only 181/2" on the marine polices ruler. He said I was measuring the fish incorrectly.The mouth must be closed to get an accurate measurement. I was issued a summons. Well I have learned something new. I have keeping illegal flounder for years. This is a crock of %$#@@&*. What is this world coming too. My fish was clearly over 19". I didnot have to stretch it to obtain 19"
