OK

Ok, so that's what and how you do it for the rocket launchers on the T top,,, I'm talking about when you are trolling. I see rigs where the have a safety line on their rod and reels while it in the rod holder on the gunnel????? How do they rig the line?

Probally the easiest solution is to use a dog leash.

You can get them in any color, they have a decent bolt snap on them and they are very cheap, $3 or $4 each. Attach the hand loop to a cleat, hard top leg, or anything else that firmly mounted and clip the bolt snap to the reels harness lug, or around the rod itselfif it doesnt have the lugs.

I used bungee cords for a while, then I tried the leash trick...works alot better, esp. for the extenders.
