How far back do searches go?

I'm trying to research something and I know threads were in certain forums on the topic I want. Did all the old threads get deleted during the upgrade? :confused:

No, the threads did not get deleted. However threads were being pruned over the years. We do have them backed up and will be migrating them back to the boards. At this moment threads go back probably about 2 years. Once we get all the old threads back into the site they will go back to early 2001.
