Headed outta City Park Monday afternoon around 6:00 PM towards the HRBT with three friends who rarely get to fish. Drifted gudgeons w/ squid strips around the bridge with zero flounder bites. Even threw a couple bucktails and other various lures without any takers. Ended up catching a few nice croaker on bottom rigs with shrimp. Very windy and the water was very cloudy. Water temperature was around 65 deg. I think its gonna take some calm days before the water clears up and the fish start biting. Ended up catching another decent croaker at the High St. bridge on the way back. So far this year I have caught croakers at the Hampton Blvd bridge, HRBT and High St. bridge. Not too thick but at least they are starting to show up.

Thanks for the report:thumbup: Sounds like the action is starting to pick up. Here's to some more good weather to give the action a little kick in the rear:)):fishing2:
