I haven't been there in awhile I have been staying up in the E. river where the bite has slowed way down except for the specks in the warmer water. I would think you could still get some schoolies at the Hrbt at night though. When I went across the mmbt fri. morning there was alot of commercial boats just off the tubes , probably a dozen or so. Anyone know what there fishing for this time of year ? Good luck if ya go.
Yeah, I was looking to do something different. Kinda slow at the ditch for me last week. NWS has the forecast SW @ 10-15. Dandy Don has it SW @ 15-25. With a 25 deg difference in temp. I'm betting on the latter.
tdau, there are always resedent stripers there, we got on'em a two weeks ago. when the water is this cold, 38-39, they get real slow. we have seen them in the light line this cold and they can barely grab the lure.
