Recently in the inlet, fishermen have been catching several short rockfish, some keepers but not many keepers.
If you're lucky enough to still have spot, they are working very well throughout the inlet.
Trolling for rockfish in the inlet:
*Stretch 25
*Eels
*Bucktail with worm
Cast & Jig
*Bucktails with worm
*Spro Bucktails
Tautog fishing has been fairly slow in the inlet. Fishermen have been using Asian black crab, green crab and sand fleas (if available) to catch Tautog.

Hook 'em & Cook 'em is the tackle store located in the Indian River Marina. To answer your question about the trolling, it is really hard to tell exactly how the fishing has been because of so few boats going out. But there are scattered reports that there are some stripers still being caught off Fenwick Shores Hotel and the mouth of the Delaware Bay. Just going to have to look for them because most have moved off more than 3 miles. But the water temp. went up a little so things might change. That is the nature of the beast at this time of year.

Hookem and cookem is the heat baby. They know what's up and they carry the best tackle for what's biting. If you tip them well enough they might show you how to blow the fish whistle baby. And trust me that gets em going. You might even win a million bucks
