Only had a few hours this morn'n to catch the outgoing tide. Ran to Wilcox to get a few eels, they were sold out. So we changed the game plan and decided to troll. We went out of Huntington Park and went up to the s-turns between buoys 6-10. A little bait here and there. The first couple of fish were low 20's, taking the deep bucktail. Then we had a hit on the Stretch plug that was WTFB. Seem like a good fish, giving the 20lb rig a good fight. Got it to the boat, well we didn't have a net so had to land by the fish by hand. It was a healthy 42", almost 28lb not bad for a river fish. We had another big'm on, but lost it during the fight. Not bad for a few hours on the James. Will post photos later.

Thanks for that report Wally. We fished the M&M from low tide to in coming. Managed just 1 22" fish before we had to come home for a bithday party which was before the high tide. A friend that was out there in another boat got their limit just as the tide hit high. just as what happened to us last weekend.
