My guess is that the overfalls should be as good as it gets by Christmas unless we get a very strong cold front that pushes them further south in a hurry. It's just been too warm. We still have roses blooming and it's December. The weathermen are calling for a mild winter? We could use one after the last 2. Maybe we'll get lucky and have a good winter fishing season?
A buddy of mine caught over 20 fish right around the 40" mark off South Jerz last Friday and his brother had more than a dozen on Saturday the last he spoke to him. They run out of Townsends Inlet. Bite is the best it has been in years. They are just discovering our Chesapeake style parachutes with sassy shads.
