Not sure who knew him from the old days at VF-101, He was my 1st LPO in 1981......spent 5000 hours in the woods hunting with the old fart,fished many many a day in the bay over the 80's & into the 90's......he moved to Kentucky to start a new farm a few years back,He took my old Boston Whaler with him down home - no one had ever seen a Whaler in there thar woods.....he traded it to an old man for 3 bore hogs, 6 roosters and dairy cow ! I liked a killed him myself for trading my boat for some damn pigs- I made the run several Novembers opening week deer season....Some have asked and others have reported about the old man........he had the same cancer I did......It finally did him in after the past few years.....The hardest part now is for Janie his wife and lil Beth his daughter..........
