If you have a goose hunting spot in Carroll or Baltimore Co
the AP zone has been expanded form the Balt./Harford co
line west to 97 in Carroll Co and from the Penn./MD state
line South to MT Carmel Rd and Monkton Road. SO if you are
in Parkton, Md. Line, Manchester, Becklysville, Norristown
etc. you will no longer have a 5 bird limit or late RP season.

Sorry to bring bad news.

Bert...thanks

That sucks but you knew it was coming. I've got a spot up that way and there were thousands of birds up there in jan/feb, definately not residents. however, i think my spot is right on the ap/rp line? south side of Mt carmel road, west of 83?? gotta look at the map?

thanks for the heads up, i'm gonna check out dnr site for a map

It was posted on the Fuge this morning. Maybe Chris (Dorado/
Yuckster) will post it here if he isn't busy rounding up
Mexicans to stand in line the for blind sight lottery.

Hola, mi nombre es Pedro y yo querría licenciar un sitio ciego[grin]

I heard the lottery has gotten much better than in years past. I usually get what I want at the court house. Thanks for the info.

First time I experienced the lottery and didnt get lucky enough to be in the top 30 or so.. lots of land that was open last year to squatters is now gone. The landowners and community assoc's are getting smarter and smarter. If they pass the 2 yr home owner licence, you can be pretty sure the AA co will have little or no waterfowling opportunites. As for me, I am looking for abetter boat and will hit the offshore and seaduck zones this winter.

Yes I'm talking about late season RP and AP. DNR hasn't
posted it yet. THe meeting re the season proposals is the15th.
Evidently not much else will change fo ducks but it is likely they will cut Bluebills back to 2 birds

The change in late resident goose is due to an increased number of bands from AP geese reported from "Hotspots" in the area
I mentioned.
