All three days we had a nice catch. On Friday with the end of that long cold blow and the water temp dropping significantly, I decided to head up the bay a ways looking for Bait, Birds and Fish, I didn't find anything significant. I knew it was a bit early for that but you never know, sometimes you'll find a pleasant surprise. I went back to live baiting and Jigging for the remainder of Friday afternoon and then again Saturday. We caught alot of fish in the slot limit along with a few below 28" and we got our Big ones over 34" up to 42" and FAT. They seem to be a larger class striper here for this time of year then we usually see. I suspect we will have some new records again this winter. I think after another blow or two we will be trolling under the birds with plenty of Striper action, and I suspect it will also be a slightly larger class fish then we had this time last year.
