Hopefully an easy one. Looking to get a few packs of larger squid to pre-rig for swords to that I can drop a deep line down when overnighting. I know I can get them in OC, but would prefer to find a place on the western shore so that I can get ready beforehand. Plus it would reduce the amount of running around OC trailering a big boat. Thanks

EDIT: sorry should be more clear. I live in Baltimore.

Find an Asian market. There is one off 40 near elicott city called Lotte market. Its pretty amazing. I'll bet they have them and they are super cheap there. Just a thought.

We have them in stock but we are located in Virginia Beach so I know this doesn't exactly help you but anyone looking for sword bait out of VA will benefit.

Thanks!

Try to find a flat of squid from a seafood distributor and pick out the larger ones for sword baits and bag up the rest for everything else. Don't recommend the really huge squids you might find in asian markets as we don't see those huge squid in our waters. It's a match the hatch operation. I've tried them and only find sharks. If you're ever in Hampton, you can get a 33 lb flat of squid for $25 bucks from Amories. Also eels and strip baits rigged just right will catch em too.
