RE: Indigo Dunes - Va Pilot article and Petition

Hello all,

I know this is a hot-button issue, but many of us wish to keep it at the forefront.

Have you seen the latest article in the Virginian-Pilot concerning the Indigo Dunes project that will, most likely, eat up one of the last large, open spaces along Shore Drive? The link to the article is below followed by a link in which you can electronically sign a petition to try to stop this latest assault on the open spaces of Va Beach.

NOTE: Only Virginia Beach RESIDENTS (or non-resident property owners) are eligible to sign the petition, but the effort to stop this project needs your support.

Article:

No Indigo Dunes website (with link to electronic petition):

Petition only link:

Have a great day.

Other than adding more traffic to an already congested part of our community that shouldn't affect fishing at the Lesner. It will totally screw the fishing grounds just south and west of it though. Now the jerks throwing stuff at boats going by, that will screw up the fishing at the Lesner. JMHO
