Good info. Just some FYI about the CBBT, the wind sensor is about 60ft + above the water so it might be reading 15-20 KNOTS but on the surface the wind speed is actually lower. Above 50ft there is less friction form the earth, so it'll cause the winds to almost always higher. Thats just some thing I've noticed over the years aboiut the wind bird at third island.

Hi Milfordmawx,

Thanks for the post. Sure this will help a lot of us make more informed fishing decisions this year. The local weather forcasts are really poor. Missed several fishing dates due to bad weather forcasts this past year.

Now if we could have real time fishing info added to the buoy data- quantity, size, type of fish, what they biting on etc .
