I've done two trips on the Blind date with Capt Stan Gold. Snowies to 54lb, Goldens over 40, Bluelines to 18lbs, wreckfish, blackbellies, and always a limit of sea bass on the way home.

Now that is an impressive haul of the absolute best eating fish around. That there is as good as it gets deep dropping. WTG Capt Stan.

Give me a call 252-336-4296, or 757-705-4614. Like Jim Baugh said, we are heading out Tues. and I can give you a report. Call by tomorrow and you may be able to go. If not we can put you on another day.

The Jill Carrie is slow (14 kts) and so is the Rudee Angler. Jake on the Matador will catch you fish and his boat is fast (25 kts plus). Jake will take 6, the Jill Carrie 14, and the Rudee Angler 60 plus. You will get 4 hour more fishing time with Jake. Matador would be my first choice, Jill Carrie second, and the Rudee Angler (head boat) third. Jake or other charters will take you when the weather permits. The Rudee Angler only runs on weekends. Hope this helped a little. I do not know or have fished with the other charters recommended. Craige (Mary E)
