:rockingreport: :bigfish:

Could somebody give me some good locations for the trophy rockfish from Poquoson River across to Old Plantation Light, Concrete Ships, York Spit, etc?

I'm planning my ONLY fishing trip of the year tomorrow (Saturday 12/6) and would appreciate ANY good advice, i.e., what lures are hot, what tides, times, etc.

Feel free to provide Long/Lats, I'll program them in.

I'm thinking of slow troll with an umbrella and a chartreuse stretch 30+. I also have the common bucktail, fake eel troller.

How deep are they hitting (or how shallow?)

Oh well, no replies ... so ....

I plan to start my troll out of Poquoson River maybe around R-6? I'll then head toward York Spit, then on across the bay to Old Plantation unless I find a hot feeding spot. Does that sound good to anybody?

I'd like to troll a fake eel w/planar on my down-rigger, a charteuse stretch 30+, and an umbrella in-line with an additional 6 oz inline sinker.

Troll speed, idle, and damn since i'm by myself, I guess I'm in for some tangles if I actually hook on!

I'll probably step up speed a little in the shallow Poq River areas?
