What area, Andy? I had an inshore guide booked just south of New Orleans a few weeks ago but the weather didn't cooperate. Be happy to p-mail you his info. He came recommended by some relatives down there, but I haven't fished with him.

I fished with both of these guides and was very pleased. I went out of Port Sulfer (about 30-45 minuted from downtown 'orleans). Also, call the Uptown Angler. They are located in 'orleans and can provide you with some additional names. Good luck.

The fishing was always spectacular, but I heard it is even better then it was due to the hurricane. He is also one of the best guides I have ever fished with any where around the world.

I have fished several times in south Louisiana. If you want to go way down into the bayous and marshes, try Capt. Marty Authement Marsh Madness. Capt. Marty fishes out of the Houma, LA area. We found plenty of trout and some nice redfish during a Feb trip several years ago.

If you are staying in New Orleans or just to the north, try Capt. Kenny Kreeger, who fishes the Lake Ponchartrain area.
