Went out yesterday late morning when the wind died down a little. We decided to stay closer to home due to forecast winds. Had the whole eastern side of the bay to myself and a CC Grady. I only ran a 6 rod spread, just didn't want to play with brand new boards in the chop.

As we were putting the spread out rod #2 went down hard, but it didn't come tight. That was it for the day. We trolled for another 3 hours and didn't mark much. The water was not as muddy as expected, but it was definately not clean. I think further south might have been better. Hopefully better days ahead.

Thanks for the intel. Hoping it begins to clear up into next week. Sure would be nice to have some fishable water that isn't 15 miles south of me. FWIW I had good marks (in nearly unfishable water) a little south of LP in deep water late last week.

Thanks for sharin' your report. Weird year so far. I'd love Love Pt. to be on, at least a little but I think it will be a little while longer.
