Drifted an incoming tide Wednesday morning from the Lesner to the tennis courts using a jighead and gulps. Half a dozen croaker and one keeper at 16.5" later it was time to go drop my brother off at the airport. I put the keeper in the freezer, dropped him off and decided to head back out. I saw the glassy conditions and headed out the 2nd Island - drifted minnows and completed my limit in under two hours with 17", 18" and 21" keepers. Water was especially clear and the lack of wind made it easy to stay on a hole. Have fished the same spot many times before but never had that hot of a bite. Also reeled in a 12" Gag Grouper which was a first for me. Solid day on the water all around and some fresh caught dinner.
