Hit Lynnhaven Inlet from 8am until 4pm, we boated about 10 spot(a couple may have been a pound), about 5 croker, one flounder(about 21"), one bluefish, one black sea bass, and the fish of choice for the day Puppy Drum( I believe we boated about half a dozen but all were short. Bait was bloodworms, squid, gulp, fishbites, shrimp, and cut croker. Pretty good day overall.

Hit it today Oct 13th and boated several short pups, 1 keeper, one legal flounder and 4 decent specs. Some headed for the broiler as we speak. Lots of folks lookin for the bite. The "Tennis Court" was packed, but "you gotta run if you wanna have fun"!

Bait of choice Berkley gulps, natural colors.

Try cast netting for live mullet back there for bait. There are still some big reds out on the flats out there but they are becoming a lot more sparse. Caught like 10 friday night ranging from 15 to 29, keeper flounder, and a 24 in speck all on live and fresh dead mullet.
