I'll be at the kayak launch about 5:45 or later depending on traffic. Going to try to catch some bait and try for flounder and then striper after dark. High tide about 8 looks good. Come on out if you can.

Hey, Tom, what site do you use for tides? The one I use showed high at 1845 Wednesday, but I've thouhgt it was off when I get to the water.

You can pick 'tide' or 'current'. Don't even mess with the tide. There can be as much as a 2 hour difference. The current is what you want. It will tell you the speed of currents and when it's going to be slack. The current did switch about 8 last night and once it did you could barely paddle against it.
