When my wife first got out of nursing school and was working "the floor," she found herself in the position of having to "digitally disimpact" a 300lb woman.

As she dug in, the woman leaned around and said "You're doing the Lord's work, honey !"

Youve got a muscle which moves the food out of the stomach, when it stops, you got gastro parieses, in other words your system stops. Sounds like you got constip. The bad thing is that when you get older it gets worse. Im starting to understand now why older folks say there aint nothing like a good sheit.

Yep, its very bad. The muscles of the stomach (gastro) are paralyzed (parieses) and are not able to push food from the stomach effectively to the small intestines also the digestion of food isn't so good either.
Glad to hear that your wife is getting along well now.

My brother-in-law was recently diagnosed with celiac disease (gluten intolerence). After years of suffering and missed diagnosises he is now doing great after some diet modifications.

I don't know if this will work, but some years ago my sister-in-law made the mistake of letting her 2-year old son eat all he wanted of two things - watermelon and apple juice.

Cleaned him right out!!!![grin][grin][grin]

You may have irritable bowel syndrome. My wife has it, and when it acts up, you understand the "irritable" part. She drinks orange juice laced with Metamucil every morning. If she's really constipated, she substitutes prune juice for the orange juice.
