I will be entertaining some youngsters and inexperienced anglers later this spring. I am guessing that chumming might be the easiest way to get them some pullage. I have seen some pretty cool home made contraptions. I know I start with two 5 gallon buckets. Then what? Any designs or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. For what it's worth....... I will only use circle hooks, will move immediately if we find small fish, and count any undersized fish that don't make it towards our limit.

Just take a 5 gallon bucket, drill a whole bunch of holes, toss a couple of large weights in the bottom, put a the chum in, put the lid on, tie a rope to it and toss in water. Some guys add a swim noodle around the top to keep it up, I like it to sink under the surface. Sometimes the current will not allow it to sink.
