Watched the work boats make a loop around 59A Monday from a little after 11am till
2PM. They hauled there nets in and went north. Eariler that morning they came out of the mouth of the Rapp. Dident know they could hit and run in a few hours like that.
The birds were on 59A heavy monday morning.
We still caught our limit up in Fleets bay.

I believe that this is their last week in the Bay. Large schools have yet to come down from MA and the rivers, so there should be some good fishing this Fall.

We were out there also. We started at the mouth of the Rapp., and the bunker fleet came south into the Rapp while we were between the mouth and 2R. Didn't look like they ever went as far as the bridge. Heard about the bite at 59, and came up that way around noon. Picked up a 20", 24" and 30" (hated to throw that one back!!) before calling it a day. Super weather for rockfishing. Thanks Big John!!
