I have a Mercury 125 that shakes at wot. Runs great, but at wot, the motor starts to shake until I back down a few rpms
then runs smooth again. It doesn't bog, just shakes. Could this be a bottom yoke issue?

Caught three on Tuesday. Two 38's and one 39. All went back of course. South of the Bridge.

Thanks for looking. Any help would be appreciated

It might be a slightly bent prop ( I always go for easiest thing to check when trouble shooting ).

Run your fingers along the prop - feeling for any nicks / dents.

Place a straight edge against lower unit so the tip of the prop just kisses it. Hold the straight edge steady and slowly rotate prop to see if the other 2 or 3 blade tips kiss it. It they bump it or miss it - you might have found answer.

A badly bent prop will shake at lower RPM's but one just barely dented won't shake enough to notice until higher RPM's.
