10-15 mph winds NW(ish)

Really nice day but we just couldn't land on them this time, someone anchored right in the middle of the hole we were on yesterday so we looked for a new area.

Caught 6 or 7 catfish from 12-16 inches all released, 8 croaker that we kept only about half in the 12/13 range the rest were 10 or bigger though. Also a fairly large (to me) eel at around 30 inches, slimey bugger went right back into the water.

Oops forgot that detail.

Squid seemed the best, we did have some shrimp and old (probably why they sucked) peepers, also clam. The squid seemed the trick for most.

We were on the N shore of the river, with the wind I haven't tried the normal spots right by the point with any luck yet this season.
