Me and the wife headed over to L.E. Hitch and Sons for some bait and scored some fat bloodworms. Hit the creek from 4pm-6 and caught 8 WP's filled with roe and a couple of males. Also found this wierd purple thingy inside one of the roe sacks. Anyone know what this is ?

You just made my day, an actual fishing and catching report, and with one of my favorite fish. Makes spring seem so much closer to see your photos.

No idea on the purple tissue, but I would not worry about eating any of those roe, they look so fat!!!

Boloodies are the ticket in any of the ES rivers and creeks this time of year . Live minnows might get a look-see , but worms are the ticket as you know John .:yes:
