Just to let the NC Guys know thats fishing out of Kiptopeke State Park, The cost to lauch your boat is $11.00 on the weekdays and $12.00 for weekends if you are going to be up there more that one weekend you need to go to the ranger station there in the park and purchase you a yearly past for $79.00 they are good for one year to the month you buy them so if you get it now it will be good until Dec.31 2011 so you are really getting a two year pass for $79.00 its well worth it plus you can go around all the guys sitting in line to pay!

Hey Guys,
Actually, it is $79 for senior citizens and $97 for anyone under 65. As far as NC fishermen that purchase a VA license, parking is $7 weekdays and $8 weekends. That is the same as VA residents. The $11 and $12 is for Maryland fishermen because they do not have to purchase a fishing license to fish VA waters in the bay so they have to pay the higher parking rate so they too are contributing to maintaining the boats ramps in VA. You are right though Will, it is good through Dec 2011. I just thought I would clear that up so everyone knows what to expect. Thanks!
