Apparently the # has been superceeded a few times, I talked to a guy down at Harkers Island, and he tried to sell me a whole new gear set @ 2500.00...NOT

Ill call you when I get home from work, i have a 1.5-1 gear at the house I have in the classifieds- there should be a brass plate on the side and if it is the same we can talk- mine is basically apart and the shaft is probably ok. It is locked in gear on the upper part of the linkage-

I wont be home until ~1830

sounds good miles, I will have the # off the tag by then, Jamie is going over to the boat and get that # off the tag, I forgot to grab it sat before I left, if I cant find one, I will take this one to a machine shop and let them drill and tap me a new piece in there, it didn't mess anything up when it sheared off, luckily, usually i can find whatever I need on the net, but not this particular one, I'll take pics of it tonight and post.

ok, that 1308030004 is on the output gear itself, the gear and shaft are made together with about 3/4 threads on the end, the threaded part is what wrung off, If I don't find one tomorrow, i am carrying it over to a machine shop to see if they can fix it, We have trips booked, gotta fix it quick

Just got back from Blue Marlin Marine, he had a used unit, let me pull it apart in his shop to check it out but the gears inside are toast, It was the exact same unit too, I went from a warm fuzzy feeling to back to dispare, oh and didn't want to charge me a dime to help me out either, and made a bunch of calls to other dealers, I will recomend him to anyone who needs help, he took my # and said he will keep looking for me. I left him a 20.00 for some beer for the help anyway. Still looking!!
